Measure once. We'll build the rest.
Getting the correct measurements is the first step toward ensuring your ALP® Lockdown Shade provides complete classroom door window coverage. Whether you choose one of our standard sizes or a custom-sized solution, accurate measurements help us recommend the correct shade for your classroom.
Measure the Glass Only
Measure only the glass portion of the classroom door window.
Do not include the surrounding frame or trim.
Recommended Finished Shade Dimensions
Width: Measure the glass and add 3 inches.
This allows the finished shade to cover both the glass and surrounding frame, helping eliminate visibility around the edges.
Length: Measure the glass and add 5 inches.
The additional length allows the shade to fully cover the viewing area while providing room for the industrial-strength adhesive strips at both the top and bottom of the window.
