Four Simple Steps

Attach the Top
Position the shade above the window trim and press the industrial-strength adhesive firmly into place.

Secure the Bottom
Unroll the shade completely. Remove the backing from the bottom adhesive strips and press firmly beneath the window trim to secure the shade.

Roll for Storage
Roll the shade back into position and secure it using the attached Quick-Release storage strap.
Installation Tips
- Install at room temperature whenever possible.
- Press firmly across the entire top adhesive strip.
- Press each bottom adhesive strip firmly to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Verify the shade rolls freely before placing it into service.
- Allow the adhesive to fully bond before repeated testing.
After Installation
After installation, periodically test your ALP® Lockdown Shade as part of your school's emergency preparedness procedures. Regular testing helps ensure every classroom remains ready for emergency deployment.
