ALP® Lockdown Shades are uniquely designed to provide maximum classroom window coverage.
Unlike unsecured shades that rely solely on gravity, ALP® shades quickly attach to both the top and bottom of the window using industrial-strength hook-and-loop adhesive.
The bottom attachment helps keep the shade securely in place during lockdown procedures—even when students are moving to designated safe locations inside the classroom.
Schools that prefer a weighted-bottom configuration can also choose that option. While a weighted bottom assists with deployment, our adhesive-secured bottom provides additional stability for customers seeking additional retention during emergency situations.
Once the emergency has passed, the shade rolls neatly back into position and is secured with the attached storage strap, ready for future use.
